He is passionate about helping community members live a healthier lifestyle, partnering with our patients to set, reach and maintain their health goals. When not at work, Abboud likes to exercise and spend time with his family.

Chief of Staff

Before joining the Cardio Connect team, Tyler gained experience in business expansion and development. He is excited to bring his strategic expertise to Cardio Connect as their Chief of Staff. Tyler inherently understands that best practices suggest high-quality patient care is the most valuable asset a clinic can have. He is driven by the unrelenting pursuit of a patient-focused approach, ideals, and clinic experience. Tyler is also an enthusiastic fan of a good cup of coffee, accounting/economics major and promotes a balanced lifestyle.

Chanel, LPN

LEAD EST NURSE

Chanel has been with Cardio Connect for the past 4 years. She has chosen the cardiology field, as cardiovascular disease is easily preventable through proper patient education and guidance. She shares the same goal as Cardio Connect, which is focused on preventative cardiac care. In her personal time Chanel is an avid runner and enjoys competing in runs and getting regular exercise.

Lead Program Nurse

Susan is a compassionate nurse with experience in the operating room, organ & tissue transplantation and covid management. Susan is passionate about learning and continually strives to increase her nursing knowledge through education. Susan is excited to be part of the Cardio Connect team. Outside work, Susan enjoys coaching her kid’s sports, cheering on the Oilers, and spending time in the mountains.

Lead Holter Nurse

Amana has 7+ years of Nursing experience working in a variety of settings including palliative care, women’s health, and community nursing. She is passionate about patient advocacy and preventative health. Amana is looking forward to growing with Cardio Connect and furthering her knowledge in cardiac health. Outside of work she enjoys rock climbing, checking out local coffee shops and exploring new playgrounds with her kids.

Cassidy, LPN, RHDS

Program Nurse/Assistant to Physician

Cassidy has worked in Cardiology since the beginning of her Career. She has previous experiencing working in acute cardiac patient care, including at the CK HUI and Mazankowski. She has now been a part of Cardio Connect for over two years. Cassidy enjoys focusing on preventative cardiac care in a community-based setting and has become an educator within the clinic. She is passionate about cardiology and providing quality patient care. In her spare time, Cassidy enjoys playing slow pitch, spending time with spouse and her golden retriever, and farming.

Program Nurse/Assistant to Physician

Shaela has over 8 years of experience working as a nurse. She has worked in the areas of surgery, post-partum care, and COVID-19 management. She has been working at Cardio Connect for two years and has enjoyed diving into Cardiology. She is passionate about caring for our patients and helping to manage demands of the clinic. Shaela’s hobbies include reading, going to winners with a Starbucks in hand, and caring for her two children.

Brittney is a dedicated nurse with nearly 10 years of experience, specializing in cardiology alongside previous experience in labor & delivery, family medicine, and cosmetics. Fuelled by her love for travel, particularly to warm destinations with beaches, she finds balance in exploring the world. Powered by coffee and Red Bull, she’s passionate about promoting heart health and making a difference in people’s lives both in and out of the clinic.

Since 2015, Jessica has served as a dedicated nurse and has specialized in expert cardiac care, including arrhythmia review, ECG assessment, and stress test performance.
