Meet Our Staff
Dr. Abboud Fahoum
In addition of his practice in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Dr. Fahoum has worked in the field of cardiac rehab for more than a decade. He is passionate about helping community members live a healthier lifestyle, partnering with our clients to set, reach and maintain their health goals. When not at work, Abboud likes to exercise and spend time with his family.
Office Administrative Manager
Lori is compassionate toward patients, a strong advocate for their well-being and an essential part of our team. Her pleasant personality is always a pleasure to her coworkers and the clients that come to our office. When not at work, Lori enjoys spending quality time with her family, enjoying summers at her lake property, and travelling abroad.
Program Registered Nurse
Pauliene is our Program Registered Nurse at Cardio Connect and brings 27 years of nursing experience to Cardio Connect. Pauliene’s past nursing experience includes; Neurology, Neurosurgery, Burns Unit, Intensive Care, Cardiac Care, as well as twelve years of Community Health on the military base. Along with her extensive nursing knowlege, Pauliene brings to us her passion for promoting healthy lifestyle choices and practices this by keeping active with CrossFit, synchronized swimming, running, swimming and biking. Outside of work, Pauliene values time with her family and enjoys watching them participate in their extra-curricular activities.
Stephanie is one of our program nurses at Cardio Connect. Stephanie completed her nursing program at Norquest College and has worked with both geriatrics and bariatric patients. She is excited to bring forth her knowlege and experience to our Cardio Connect patients. Stephanie is an advocate for encouraging and educating patients about making positive lifestyle changes. In her spare time, Stephanie keeps busy with family and friends, as well as practicing hot yoga, enjoying festivals and being active within the community.
Pauline is one of our program nurses at Cardio Connect. Pauline brings to our clinic her experience as a floater at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and gained experience within the Cardiac, Pulmonary, Geriatric, Nephrology, Stroke, GI and Palliative units. She is an advocate for preventative medicine. In her spare time, Pauline spends time with friends and family and stays active with cross-fit and biking with her dogs.
Genevieve is one of our program nurses. She recently graduated from the practical nurse program and is very excited to start her new career at Cardio Connect. Genevieve is a strong advocate for smoking prevention and cessation. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, yoga, and running.
Kara is one of our program nurses at Cardio Connect. She completed the practical nursing program at Norquest College and is excited to be a part of the Cardio Connect team. Kara is passionate about assisting patients in any way she can to live a more positive and healthy lifestyle. In her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time with family and going for walks in the community of St. Albert.
Samantha is our Nutritionist here at Cardio Connect. She completed her Bachelors of Science Degree at the University of Alberta majoring in Nutrition and Food Sciences. With the goal of helping patients lead a healthy balanced lifestyle, she hopes to increase overall nutrition knowledge and set recommendations to lead patients in the right direction. Outside of work, Samantha enjoys spending time outdoors camping and quadding, keeping active with spin and group fitness classes, and spending time with family and friends.
